CAcert user trusted certificates (with lock screen)
Users may sometimes encounter credential problems in their applications. In order to install credentials, we need to install the certificate files in our media player.
Download the certificate files onto the internal flash storage (the '/sdcard' or any subfolder).
You can find the install options in the below path.
- Android 7.1: Basic setting page->Click Time zone->三->Security->Install from SD card
- Android 9: Basic setting page->Click Time zone->Click back button on the top left->Security & location->Encryption & credentials->Install from SD card
- Android 12: Basic setting page->Advanced->Tap 5x on bottom right corner to enter Android home page->Settings->Security->Encryption & credentials->Install a certificate
For Android 7.1 and 9 devices: If it is the first user certificate you install, the Android Security Model forces you to use a lock screen to unlock your device. To check if certificate files are installed correctly, you can see the certificates under the user credentials section under the security settings.
