Yes, IAdea player synchronizes time with time server.
Time synchronization occurs each time the player boots up and once every 24 hours of continuous operation.
The time server being used is different among various IAdea models:
[Android 4.4] Model: XDS-1078, MBR-1100, XMP-6XXX Series and XMP-7300
(1) Player by default synchronizes with Android default time server (ntp.pool.org)
(2) From player's Basic setting menu, go to Advanced -> Scheduling -> Time server, if user enable "Use AppStart URL as time server", player will synchronize time with content source URL configured in Advanced -> Content -> AppStart , to replace the Android default time server.
[Android 7.1] Model: XDS-1078, XDS-108X series, MBR-1100-A7, XMP-6250, and XMP-7300
From player's Basic setting menu, go to Advanced -> Scheduling -> Time server, you will see the options below.
(1) Disabled: Player don’t synchronize with any server.
(2) Default: Player synchronize it’s time with Android default time server( pool.ntp.org).
(3) Use AppStart URL as time server: Player synchronize it’s time with the web server where the appStart URL hosted (based on http response header’s time)
(4) Customized: Player synchronize it’s time with customized time server.
Legacy model: XMP-2200 and XDS-1060 series
(1) Player by default synchronizes with Android default time server (ntp.pool.org)
(2) From player's Basic setting menu, go to Advanced -> System -> Time server, if user enable "Use AppStart URL as time server", player will synchronize time with content source URL configured in Advanced -> Content -> AppStart , to replace the Android default time server.
Legacy model: XMP-3250 and XDS-1950/2450 series
(1) Player by default synchronizes time with "www.google.com"
(2) In player's setting menu, go to "Time setting->Time server" to manually configure the preferable time server to replace the default setting.
