AppSpace - Smart Dock Room Card

How to import the IAdea Smart Dock Room Card into your AppSpace library and use it to display desk booking information on an IAdea WBD-0500 Smart Dock.

Before you begin

• You need an AppSpace account with permission to manage the Library and create Channels.
• The desks you want to display must already be set up as bookable resources in AppSpace.
• Download the card package: Smart Dock Room Card-IAdea-WBD0500-1.44.1.1.zip. Do not unzip it. AppSpace imports the .zip file as-is.

Step 1: Add the card template

1. In AppSpace, go to Library > Cards > Templates.
2. Click Add Card Template.
3. Select Smart Dock Room Card-IAdea-WBD0500-1.44.1.1.zip and upload it.

Step 2: Add the card theme

1. Go to Library > Cards > Themes.
2. Click Add Theme.
3. Select the same file, Smart Dock Room Card-IAdea-WBD0500-1.44.1.1.zip, and upload it.

Once the upload finishes, the new card theme appears in the Themes list.

Step 3: Create a channel with the card

1. Go to Channels and click Add.
2. Select Desk Booking (WBD-0500).
3. Give the channel a name and save it.

Step 4: Assign the desk

1. Open the channel you just created.
2. In the card settings, select the desk this WBD-0500 will display.
3. Save and publish the channel.
4. Assign the channel to the WBD-0500 device mounted at that desk.

Notes

• Use one channel per desk, so each WBD-0500 shows the booking status of its own desk.
• You only need to import the card template and theme once per AppSpace account. After that, create a new channel for each additional desk.
• If Desk Booking (WBD-0500) does not appear when adding a channel, confirm that both Step 1 and Step 2 completed successfully.
