IAdea is committed to protecting the privacy of users who install and use the IAdeaConnect App ("App") on their ServiceNow instance. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information collected by the App, how we use, store, and protect that information, and users' rights regarding their data. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
The IAdeaConnect App does not collect or store personal data from users. The information the App interacts with is strictly limited to meeting room reservation details, including but not limited to:
- Meeting room name
- Reservation time, date, and duration
- Reservation status (e.g., reserved, available)
- User check-in and check-out times
The App does not collect or process sensitive personal data or health-related information (e.g., HIPAA compliance is not required).
How We Use the Information
The App uses meeting room reservation data to synchronize it between the ServiceNow Workspace and IAdea meeting room panels. This information is displayed in real time to show room availability and manage reservations.
The IAdeaConnect App does not use the data for any purpose other than facilitating synchronization between the two platforms. IAdea does not store or process any data transmitted through the App.
Data Storage and Retention
IAdeaConnect does not store any user data. All data processed by the App remains within the user’s ServiceNow environment and IAdea’s device management service, IAdeaCare, in accordance with the respective data retention policies of those platforms.
Data Security
IAdea is ISO27001 certified, and we take the security of your data seriously. The App has been reviewed as part of our annual ISO27001 audit to ensure it complies with our internal security standards. The App does not store or transmit sensitive data, and all communications between ServiceNow and IAdea devices are encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols.
User Rights
Since the App does not store personal data, there is no need for users to request data access, modification, or deletion. All meeting reservation data remains under the control of the user’s ServiceNow instance.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
IAdea reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our website or ServiceNow marketplace listing.
