Please firstly check the support monitor list :
1) Power up player
2) When player gets into Welcome! screen, insert USB keyboard to get into config menu
3) Go to "System Maintenance" option --> Drivers --> RS-232 --> use space key to select a supporting drive for the screen --> save and exit config menu
4) Connect RJ-11-to RS-232 cable (come with the player) from player to TV
On the software side, IAdea player share the current supported "video off" function. Therefore no addtional learning is required.
For Manager Express user, simply schedule the "turn off the screen" time where you can always find this option in the bottom* of the Manager Express user interface (* looping mode )
For SMIL programmer, check this page for more detials : http://www.a-smil.org/index.php/Screen_on/off
For Scala user, leave the schedule slot empty to configure as video off time.
(if there is no RS-232, the video signal will be turned off and screen will put into sleep mode)
